Shemiza Rashid

Multi award winning interfaith art consultant and creative director Shemiza Rashid is more than a little passionate about Islamic inspired creativity; described as a leading voice in community radio and muslim arts and entertainment, Shemiza Rashid is the innovative presenter and producer behind the critically acclaimed 'urban kube radio' show on Inspirefm.

Attika Choudhary

Attika Choudhary is a current affairs and entertainment reporter as well as one of the UK's most dynamic Pakistani/Kashmiri presenters. A former law graduate, Attika has worked across television and radio and her interviews with Bollywood celebrities attract a wide following. She seems totally comfortable whether interviewing the most legendary stars and directors or politicians and members of the public. She has worked on countless programme specials for BBC Radio involving issues such as MPs' expenses, drugs, disability, general elections in 2010, the death of Michael Jackson and many Asian-related stories. Recently she broadcast on the first Halal Food Festival to take place and hosted Pakistan Fashion Week 5. Attika has also modelled in main stream and has been reporting on Asian fashion for several years. She is excited to be involved with the Saverah Fashion Weekend and the great variety of styles to suit Muslim women. As a Muslim she believes strongly in presenting all that is positive about Islam and Pakistan/Kashmir. She is also keen to promote the cause of Asian women in journalism and broadcasting.
